製品説明 5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP, L-oxitriptan), also known as oxitriptan, is a naturally occurring amino acid and chemical precursor as well as a metabolic intermediate in the biosynthesis of the neurotransmitter serotonin.
In Vitro
In vitro 5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) is a 5-HT precursor. In Caco-2 cells, exogenous 5-HTP, which can enter the cells, increases the density of microvilli[1].
In Vivo
In Vivo Systemic application of 5-HTP increases the density of microvilli in the mouse intestine in vivo[1] and allows frontal cortical serotonin response to stress in hyperphenylalaninaemic mice[2].

5.0mg/ml (22.70mM) Taking the 1 mL working solution as an example, add 20 μL of 250 mg/ml clarified DMSO stock solution to 100 μL of PEG300, mix evenly to clarify it; add 50 μL of Tween80 to the above system, mix evenly to clarify; then continue to add 830 μL of ddH2O to adjust the volume to 1 mL. The mixed solution should be used immediately for optimal results.
