製品説明 Imipenem acts as an inhibitor of AmpC β-lactamase and is an antibiotic useful for the treatment of a number of bacterial infections.
Targets
AmpC β-lactamase [1]
In Vitro
In vitro Imipenem, a β-lactam antibiotic, binds to penicillin binding protein 2 with the highest affinity and produces rounded cells. The binding of imipenem causes cells to lyse quickly and thereby to release less free endotoxin[1].
In Vivo
In Vivo Imipenem has a very short half-life[1]. Imipenem has antimycobacterial activity both in a mouse model and in humans at high risk for failure of treatment for MDR (multiple-drug-resistant) tuberculosis[2].

0.05mg/ml (0.16mM) Taking the 1 mL working solution as an example, add 50 μL of 1 mg/ml clarified DMSO stock solution to 400 μL of PEG300, mix evenly to clarify it; add 50 μL of Tween80 to the above system, mix evenly to clarify; then continue to add 500 μL of ddH2O to adjust the volume to 1 mL. The mixed solution should be used immediately for optimal results.

0.05mg/ml (0.16mM) Taking the 1 mL working solution as an example, add 50 μL of 1 mg/ml clear DMSO stock solution to 950 μL of corn oil and mix evenly. The mixed solution should be used immediately for optimal results.
